An intensive, on-sight introduction to the tradition and performance of French pipe organ music from the 17th century to the present. Integral to the performance and understanding of this music is visiting France to hear and play the historic organs that influenced French organ composers through the centuries. Hearing organs in their liturgical context, hearing the language and getting to know French musicians and the culture can also inform understanding and performing this genre of music.

Facade, St. Sulpice (in classic style) This church is the 'new church' built literally on top of the 'ancienne church' begun in 1646.
Fountain and place in front of l'eglise. (How to rotate I don't know!?)
